The world is progressing at an unbelievable rate, yet the health issues of a third of the world’s population remain un-addressed. About 85% of the world’s population does not have access to a proper functioning toilet. Water borne diseases are spreading like wild fire. According to a report, every year more children die of diarrhoea than of AIDS.

The lack of toilets is more prominent in rural areas than urban areas, yet they affect all of them likewise. Poor sanitation is a cause that people are suffering from diseases which were unheard of decades ago. This is a crisis, faced by every country, but the governments are turning a blind eye to them despite the fact that these diseases are the major cause behind the hospitals being over crowded.

Access to proper sanitary conditions is a basic right of every human being no matter rich or poor. The third world countries are suffering the most, there is no concept of toilets in the villages whatsoever, causing poor health conditions.

Those of us who have access to a proper toilet will be disgusted by the sight of people excreting waste in open. This unattended waste does more harm than a drone attack would.
